Event update
On 2 of March, the Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen opened its doors to the Water and Food Award Ambassador event. Chairperson and founder Tina Lindgreen welcomed a full house of sponsors, ambassadors and potential ambassadors to an evening of hope and passion for life. We heard inspirational presentations on social responsibility from Esben Danielsen, spokesman for Roskilde music festival and Maarten van Engeland, from ISS facility services.
We were treated to world music from the A Call to Peace project (AC2P) who have offered to play at the Award event in October and possibly bring several well-known artists. AC2P has engaged several Hollywood and music industry professionals in their mission to bring a message of peace through their music. The project counts with the support of Dionne Warwick, Jon Anderson, Milton Nascimento, Cara Tower and Eduardo Del Signore among many others. Real World Music (UK), is supporting the creation of this Call by offering the participation of their artists.
Actor Michael Nouri was particularly supportive of the Water and Food Award and recorded a short greeting to founder Tina Lindgreen.Read more here.
Staff from the WAF presented updates on the applicants and organisational status.Read more about the Ambassador event here.

On top of that WAF is working together with dkwebshop on the possibilities for raising an economy through online services.
Last but not least we are working on partnering up with International hardware and software suppliers, since we are in need of some new hardware for performances around DK.
