WAF Award and Statuette

We work on launching the first Award show as soon as we have enough sponsors on board. It will bring attention to the situation of those without water and food, and to recognize cutting edge efforts to address the situation.

For the first time ever the new ground-breaking Humanitarian Water & Food Award will be presented.

The award will recognise the most innovative, creative and sustainable projects that provides people in need with the basic necessities: water and food.

The award event promises an evening of hope, with live performances from recognised artists, high-profile keynote speakers and presentations of the nominated projects. All will tell the story – water and food for all.

Social innovation and entrepreneurship

The Humanitarian Water & Food Award is an example of social innovation and social entrepreneurship – one of the fastest growing sectors worldwide. WAF aims at creating social value through a unique mix of business, professionalism, volunteeriness and humanism. The association works cross-sector incorporating grassroots, individuals, government parties, business, NGOs, networks and relations.
