Ambassadors

Actor and singer Valentina Vargas: “I am very pleased and happy to support WAF.  This is a wonderful and very much needed initiative in the World today.  It brings Hope and it shows that its roots are deeply grounded in Love.  And where there is Love there is always water and food” Valentina Vargas.

Jackline Ahrnberg has a Masters Degree from Copenhagen Business School. She supports WAF by opening her network hence providing contacts to volunteer professionals and prospect sponsors. Jackline did a presentation at WAF’s Ambassador Event in 2010 about the role of an ambassador and opportunities for contributing to WAF. See her slide presentation below. She has also helped with strategic decisions and planning.

Film Director Bille August has made us see that we are telling the water and food story. Creating a red thread throughout is key. Twice he won the Golden Palm award for “Pelle The Conqueror” and the TV production “Den Gode Vilje” (Best Intentions). Goodbye Bafana is his latest master piece.

Actor Michael Nouri. “I am very excited and happy to support this award event. I look forward to meeting you and offering any support I can. I want to say congratulations to you for mounting such a meaningful project – there are so many places that are in need”

Dr. Pierluigi Orati Freelance Journalist and CSR-Sustainability Expert. ”Every single person I have met in connection with the Award Event 2010 November25th stays now deeply in my heart and that especially you Tina (President ed.) were able to create a very positive atmosphere from the first to the last minute I have come on board your visionary and tremendous useful ship of hope!”

sascha-dupont2Singer and song writer Sascha Dupont: “I said Yes to being an ambassador for The Humanitarian Water and Food Award. This is because I am a great fan of those two elements, water and food. It is also because I believe that all human beings have a right for both. Unfortunately this not quite the case in reality, but, fortunately there are people who fight for, that even the poorest of us will have water. This is something that we may award!”

David Aime Pandi Bapaga

Inova Nordic - Thomas MardahlThomas Mardahl, Partner & Project advisor, INOVA Nordic.
“To be ambassador for a project like ‘The Humanitarian Water and Food Award’  is to me more a privilege, than a possibility.
If my work or assistance can make a difference, and if we can use our business network to support WAF, this work will start today.
I’m looking forward to see many more companies join the program, and support in any way they see possible”
